Post 46 is pleased to announce that four books are now available at special reduced rates to all interested Legionnaires. These books have been written by members of the Post, two of them accounts of the author's experiences during World War II and two of them novels, one with a Vietnam War background and the other a Civil War account.

AN EIGHTH AIR FORCE COMBAT DIARY by John A. Clark, 1st Lieutenant, USAAF. An account of his combat missions flown out of England during the bitter winter of 1944-45 with the 100th Bomb Group. Complete with diary notes, photographs, data.
DEAR MOTHER AND DADDY: WWII LETTERS HOME FROM A WASP by Marie Mountain Clark, Women's Air Force Service Pilots (WASP). Marie Mountain completed the U.S. Air Force Pilots training and then served at the Las Vegas Army Air Base. Her book is a compilation of letters sent home during her time on active duty.
ONE LAST VICTORY by J.J. Van Gasse, MD. A novel. The story of the last battle of the Civil War at Palmito Ranch in Texas and its dramatic aftermath.

The price, if ordered off this website, is $25 per book and includes shipping and handling, with the exception of the Post History which is $7. All proceeds will go the Post 46 Veteran's Service Fund to be used in funding scholarships for UM ROTC cadets, the children of men and women who have lost a parent in the current conflict, and to assist the families of servicemen and women now on active duty.
